Hi.

I'm a Mopar fan and would like to have a "skoolie" with a Dodge chassis. Preferred would be a 1964-72 Superior or 1968-73 Wayne. My ideas are still in the research stages but am looking for ideas of where to hunt for such a bus. I already use eBay and have an ongoing search engine there. Big trouble is that Dodge buses are like hen's teeth.:(

Any ideas about places to look in the Midwest? (I live in Omaha, Nebraska.)

I'm guessing that the Southwest, if I had a way to get one from there, would be ideal because the dry climate minimizes rust damage.

Does anyone remember school districts that used Dodge chassis? When I was a kid, my district (Jefferson County, Colorado) used mostly IH's and some GMC/Chevys; no Fords or Dodges that I recall. Perhaps this is a nonissue since someone could buy a bus in one part of the country and move it far away before reselling.

Since I don't expect to buy in the very near future, perhaps patience is a virtue (except that the ideal bus may disappear forever in the interim).
