Darryll Baker's 1939 Wayne Chevy School Bus

This a 1939 Chevy ton and a half pickup with a Wayne body. My grandfather, Jack Baker from New Ross, Indiana, kept this one up since he purchased it in 1949. It had been used as a school bus in Lebanon and Indianapolis Indiana for some 10 years before he bought it. It was used as the team bus in the movie "Hoosiers." Several of the pictures are from the 25 year anniversary celebration of the making of the movie held in Knightstown, Indiana in June 2010. I now have it out in Falls Church, Virginia where I now live. Anyway, I'm still working on it (and probably always will be!) but it's quite the family heirloom.
